About

When we began to develop Ninja Post, we asked, "If message boards were created today, what would they be like?"

For starters, we said that a modern message board would not replace existing social networks, like Facebook and Twitter—instead it would leverage them to bring the conversation to your turf. Next, we acknowledged that registering for "yet another message board" is painful; this process needed to be streamlined.

We also said that pages should load quickly. That's why Ninja Post threads should update in real time, like a chat. After all, everyone loves a fast website. Finally, we wanted to make it easy for site owners to set up and manage their own forums, so we host all communities in the cloud and provide a powerful control panel. Furthermore, we said that message boards should have an elegant design and be easy to brand.

Using these guidelines, we developed Ninja Post—forum software built for a Web 2.0 world. Ninja Post makes your site more social. It lets you interact with your users to build long term relationships. When you use Ninja Post, your page views, time-on-site, SEO footprint, and revenue, among other metrics, are bound to go up.

Our Team

Ninja Post was founded by Mike Wilt. Our goal is to breathe new life into the world of forum software. We share a passion for building web applications that allow users to connect with one another to share knowledge.

In addition, we recognize that the best solution is rarely the most complex solution. There is elegance in simplicity and we strive to demonstrate this in all that we do.

Funding

Ninja Post was founded in May 2009 thanks to seed funding from Shotput Ventures, an Atlanta-based incubator for capital-light web companies. Since graduating from the SPV program, Ninja Post has bootstrapped its way to profitability.
